Clinical examples of tattoo reactions
During the ECTP 2015 in Bruges, a New Clinical Classification of Tattoo Reactions was presented as a poster. This gives a good overview of the different reactions to tattoos.
Below you will find clinical examples of tattoo complications presented as inflammatory reactions, inflammation with epidermal hypertrophi, inflammation with ulceration, infections, and finally pigment in dermis removed with dermatome shaving.
