About ESTP

We are pleased to welcome you to our society, European Society on Tattoo and Pigment research (ESTP). ESTP was inaugurated during the 1st ECTP Congress which took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, 13-14 November 2013.

The main objectives of the ESTP are to advance academic research on tattoos, to deliver independent expert advice, to educate the medical community and other groups of professionals in all aspects of tattoos, to advance the manufacturing, distribution and sales of safer tattoo ink and to develop and support research projects, guidelines and publications.

The ESTP organises recurring congresses in the field to secure a high level of knowledge sharing and networking.

Disclaimer: A producer of tattoo aftercare products is using the ESTP abbreviation to label his European school of tattooing and pigments. The European Society of Tattoo and Pigment Research has nothing to do with this activity.

Membership of the ESTP gives the member a number of benefits: e.g reduced congress fee, membership diploma and ESTP news.

We hope you will support the research in the field by joining us in the ESTP.
